The Lady Hawks (Gold Squad) 8th Grade team takes 3rd at the Mystic River Classic!!!

This past weekend the Lady Hawks traveled to Decatur, AL to participate in the 3rd annual Mystic River Classic. Friday night the 8th grade team (GOLD SQUAD) split 2 games barely lossing to the Tri-City Jaguars 32-28. Saturday afternoon the GOLD SQUAD had a rematch with Good Hope whom they beat in the first game 32-28. The girls were down 11 to 0 8 minutes into the game when Coach Friend arrived from the other game. The girls buckled down and railled back to win the game 32-28 (same score as the first game between the two teams).
